14.52 $
Description
This is a Ukiyo-e print by Yamamoto Shoun, who was active from the Meiji to Taisho periods.
It depicts young ladies entertaining a baby, accompanied by a merchant's wife, with lanterns and rattle drums during cherry blossom season. Is that a shop boy in an apron wearing a lion dance mask?
Please enjoy this peaceful and beautiful scene of a wealthy merchant family, framed. It comes with a mat.
Purchased over 20 years ago at Hanazono Shrine for 2000 yen.
There are scuffs and chips on the edges. These are parts that will not be visible when framed, so please check the images.
Yamamoto Shoun, also known as Matsutani.
Meiji 3 - Showa 40 (1870-1965)
